SAFETY & CLINICAL GOVERNANCE

At Shujo Aesthetics, safety is non-negotiable. Our standards are built around assessment, consent, documentation, infection prevention, and aftercare.

1) Assessment-first practice
We assess suitability before recommending treatment, including medical history, risk factors, skin barrier status, and pigmentation risk where relevant.

2) Informed consent
We explain benefits, realistic outcomes, risks, alternatives, and aftercare. Consent is documented, and you have time for questions.

3) Infection prevention and aseptic technique
We follow strict hygiene measures including sterile equipment and appropriate skin preparation.

4) Documentation and traceability
We document products used and traceability where applicable, treatment areas, clinical notes, and aftercare instructions.

5) Emergency preparedness
We maintain emergency readiness for rare events such as vasovagal reactions or allergic responses, with escalation pathways.

6) Aftercare and follow-up
Written aftercare and planned review points for corrective programmes.

Online clinic safety
Structured screening, photo guidance, and escalation rules. Online consultations are not suitable for emergencies.
