Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking or attending a treatment at Shujo Aesthetics. By proceeding with a booking, you agree to the terms set out below.

01 — Bookings & Deposits

Bookings & Deposits

A booking deposit may be required to secure your appointment at Shujo Aesthetics. The deposit amount varies by treatment — please refer to the relevant treatment page or contact us for details.

A deposit is required at the time of booking for certain treatments and training courses
Deposits may be forfeited in the event of a late cancellation or no-show (see Cancellations below)
For training courses, full payment is required no later than 4 weeks before the training date
Deposits are non-transferable unless agreed in writing by Shujo Aesthetics
By paying a deposit, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions in full.

02 — Cancellations

Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances can change. However, in order to offer appointment availability to other patients and to maintain the quality of our service, we ask that you provide adequate notice of any cancellation or request to reschedule.

At least 48 hours' notice is required to reschedule or cancel any appointment without penalty
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may result in full or partial forfeiture of your deposit
Failure to attend (no-show) without prior notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit
In exceptional circumstances, please contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you

03 — Suitability & Outcomes

Suitability & Expected Outcomes

All treatments at Shujo Aesthetics are subject to a suitability assessment prior to proceeding. This assessment is carried out in your interest and in accordance with our duty of care as aesthetic practitioners.

All clients undergo a suitability assessment before any treatment is administered
We reserve the right to decline treatment if we consider it unsuitable for any reason, including health, contraindications or unrealistic expectations
Results from aesthetic treatments vary between individuals — no specific outcome can be guaranteed
Information regarding expected results, risks and alternatives will be provided at consultation
Where relevant, a cooling-off period may be offered before proceeding with treatment
At Shujo Aesthetics, we will never proceed with a treatment we do not believe is appropriate, safe or in your best interest.

04 — Aftercare

Aftercare Agreement

Aftercare instructions are provided as part of every treatment at Shujo Aesthetics and form a key part of the treatment agreement. Following aftercare guidance is essential for achieving optimal results and minimising any risk of adverse effects.

Written and/or verbal aftercare instructions will be provided following every treatment
Aftercare instructions are considered part of the treatment agreement and should be followed carefully
Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect your results or increase the risk of complications
If you have any concerns following treatment, please contact us promptly — do not wait until your next appointment

If you experience any unusual symptoms or have concerns after treatment, please contact us directly as a priority via WhatsApp.

05 — Complaints

Complaints & Duty of Candour

At Shujo Aesthetics, we are committed to the highest standards of clinical practice and patient care. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your experience or treatment, we want to hear from you.

All complaints are taken seriously and handled with care, professionalism and confidentiality
Please raise any concern with us as soon as possible so we can address it promptly
Our full complaints procedure and Duty of Candour policy are available on request
We are committed to openness and transparency where a treatment has not gone as expected
