Common Questions
Gouri is classified as mild in terms of discomfort. A local anaesthetic is applied before treatment to minimise any sensation. The treatment uses a very fine 30–35G needle and requires fewer injection points than many comparable treatments, making the overall experience more comfortable.
One of Gouri's notable features is its compatibility with other products. Non-crosslinked skin boosters and Botox can be applied alongside it. However, we recommend a 1-month interval before and after treatment when it comes to HA fillers and other cross-linked materials. Do not mix any other products directly with Gouri during the same session.
Initially, 2 sessions are recommended — spaced 4 weeks apart. Thereafter, a maintenance session every 2–6 months is recommended to sustain results. Your clinician will advise on the appropriate schedule based on how your skin responds.
A patch test may be required for certain patients. We also supply all patients with Piriton before treatment as a precautionary measure. This will be discussed fully during your consultation before any treatment proceeds.
