Venesection / Therapeutic Phlebotomy in Milton Keynes

A private venesection service provided in a professional clinical setting for appropriately referred or suitable patients.

Venesection is a clinical procedure. Appropriate referral information, recent blood results and a suitability check are required before treatment proceeds. We will review all documentation carefully and confirm suitability at the time of consultation.

Clinical Procedure Notice: Venesection at Shujo Aesthetics is subject to appropriate referral, recent blood results and a pre-procedure suitability check. This is not a walk-in or wellness service. Please contact us in advance to discuss your situation before booking.

About the Procedure

What Is Venesection?

Venesection — also referred to as therapeutic phlebotomy — is the controlled removal of a volume of blood for clinical purposes. It is an established procedure used in the management of certain conditions including haemochromatosis, polycythaemia vera and other iron or red blood cell disorders, where regular blood removal forms part of a medically directed treatment plan.

At Shujo Aesthetics, this service is offered privately in a professional clinical setting. We do not provide diagnosis or ongoing condition management — patients are expected to be under the care of an appropriate clinician and should be able to provide supporting documentation or referral information prior to proceeding.

"Venesection is a clinical procedure and we treat it as one. Our role is to carry it out safely, professionally and with appropriate documentation — not to replace the care of your GP or specialist."
