Lift · Contour · Rejuvenate — Without Surgery
A minimally invasive alternative to a surgical facelift — using PDO threads to lift sagging skin, contour the face and stimulate natural collagen production. Results that last up to 18 months, with almost no downtime.
The Treatment
PDO Thread Lifts have rapidly become a popular minimally invasive alternative to surgical facelift procedures — giving rise to the emerging cat eye, V-line and snatched jawline trends. Using dissolvable polydioxanone threads, the treatment physically repositions sagging tissue whilst simultaneously stimulating the body's natural collagen and elastin production beneath the surface of the skin.
PDO threads are inserted via a cannula or needle. Once each thread reaches its endpoint it is released — and the process may be repeated with one to fifteen threads depending on the desired lift. The threads are then smoothed with a gentle massage to ensure a natural result.

Learn moreThe Science & Technology
PDO Thread Lift is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment that stimulates the body's natural production of collagen and elastin beneath the surface of the skin. The procedure is painless with zero downtime — making it a compelling alternative to a surgical facelift.
With innovative patented technology where barbs are press-moulded in a 360-degree helical pattern, PDO offers the most robust threads on the market — allowing instant yet profound results while minimising pain and trauma.
The PDO Advantage
"PDO Threadlift fills the gap between invasive surgery and injectables — providing longer-lasting results than dermal fillers, with none of the risks or recovery of surgical procedures."
Fine PDO threads are precisely inserted through the skin via a cannula or needle — reaching the exact depth needed for the desired lift and support.
The thread's barbs grip the tissue and reposition it upward — creating an immediate, visible lifting effect that enhances facial contour and definition.
As the threads gradually dissolve over time, they trigger the body's natural wound-healing response — stimulating new collagen and elastin for progressive, lasting skin improvement.
The final result continues to develop over the following weeks as swelling resolves and collagen builds — with results lasting up to 18 months.

Your Questions Answered
A PDO Thread Lift is a minimally invasive, non-surgical procedure that uses dissolvable polydioxanone threads to lift and reposition sagging facial tissue. Unlike a surgical facelift, it requires no general anaesthesia, no surgical incisions and carries significantly less risk — with almost immediate return to normal activity and results lasting up to 18 months.
Local anaesthesia is provided before treatment to ensure your comfort. Most patients experience moderate pressure during thread insertion — but the procedure is very well tolerated. Some mild soreness or discomfort may be felt in the days following treatment, which is completely normal.
Most patients can return to light, normal activity almost immediately. A full recovery period of 1 to 2 weeks should be anticipated — during which some swelling and bruising may be visible. Strenuous activity and heavy facial massage should be avoided during this time.
Results can last up to 18 months. As the PDO threads gradually dissolve over time, they continue to stimulate new collagen production — meaning the skin quality continues to improve even after the threads themselves have been absorbed.
The number of threads required varies significantly depending on the areas being treated, the degree of sagging and the result you're hoping to achieve — anywhere from one to fifteen threads may be inserted in a single session. Esther will advise the exact plan during your consultation.
